I am so frustrated. I used to be able to do this in my sleep back with my old Motorola V60, by pressing the button on the right side of my phone, I used to just be able to say the name I programmed into my addressbook and it would dial the name...simple!

Now on the new V180, it was simple enough to program the voice name into the addressbook again, but using it is another story all together. Anybody have any idea how to use the voice dial feature to get it to actually dial the number by voice?

There doesn't seem to be a button on the phone to enable it to listen to you say the voice. I AM SOOOOOOOOO CONFUSED. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with AT&T customer service tonight and they could only tell me how to record the voice, and I already had done that and told them so....

SO now I am coming to you all..once I program the name into my phone book and record their name...how do I dial them by voice?

    HELP!

all you have to do is press that button down once, dont hold the button just press it... on screen the words "say name now" appear along with a quick timer... just say the name and if it matches then it will dial... hope it helps...
