Enable mid and mp3 as ringtones

Hi, I need help, I finally get to upload mid and mp3 files to my v300 Motorola cell phone, BUT, even when I can play them as sounds, I cannot assign it as a ring tone, they don’t appear on my options when assigning a new ring tone to a register on my phone book.

What can and should I do?

i was just wondring what site u use to upload your files

go to your menu/ multimedia/ sounds and get back with me to let me know if their in there if not you may have not successfully downloaded them also go to my site if you have wap on your phone and download a ringtone (it's free) and let me know if it gives you an option to store the ringtone. If it doesn't you may have a problem with your phone also what service are you using?
