V220 Pst Programmer

I have just received the PST Prgrammer Program and tried to install it in my WIN XP computer. It installed correctly and then I plugged the phone in and loaded the drivers accordingly. I then when I enter the PST Phone Programmer then I hear a few BLIPS. I try and open File/KJAVA and the window appears and the place to enable the JAV Loader is shaded and states

"JAVA MENU STATE UNKNOWN. READ PHONE FIRST"

What do I do to get the programmer to work?

I think I have tried everything from reloading the Program to reinstalling the phone. I have shut the darn computer off it seem like a 100 times. Is there any suggestion out there for me? Please HELP?
