can i record something on the phone and use it as a ring tone? if not is there a program i can use? thanks

i just make my own mp3 ringtones. I use a mp3 cutter which u can download over the net and just cut the mp3's down to a small size to fit ur phone. After i do that, i go to www.yousendit.com. At the bottom of the page click on Need secure transfers first.I send it to my phone's email which is ([email protected]), upload the mp3 ringtone and send it. After i send it, it sends me a text message but after i would press send on dat website i would take the link it gives me, go to my browser on my phone and key in the url and then connect to dat website. Then it would download the mp3 ringtone. Sounds like a lot to do but it's simple and easy once u get the hang of it.Hope u find this useful.

You can also use a data cable or Bluetooth to transfer your MP3 ringtones to your phone. This will save you from any GPRS charges if you don't have unlimited with your carrier.

That's at least what I do because Rogers charges a lot for internet & downloading ringtones.
