Motorola i710 Ringtone Problem

I am trying to make my own ringtone, I edit the song correctly, I try to upload it onto my phone (i710) and it says that there is an error uploading it onto my phone, the song clip is at 44100Hz and the message says to try to lower it to 19200Hz when I do this it slows the song down a lot....I just need to knwo whether there is a way to make it so that the song will play normally at 19200Hz or if there is another option I am not thinking of. By the way the song is Pink Floyd - Time

look at www.wirelessmatt.com and find a wav ringtone and try uploading that first to make sure everything is working properly and then focus on making your own.
