V220 shutdown issues - found problem

Hello!

I just picked up my phone yesterday, and noticed once in a while it would just shut down. I did a web search and found a couple others with the same problem.

Here's how I can recreate it.

1. Close phone (leave on or charging while turned off)
2. Push on the upper left hand corner, on the top half of the phone by the hinge (basically right above the up volume control, but on the top half that flips up)

The display in front will flicker and the phone will power down, then power back up.

This was driving me nuts trying to figure it out... finally went to charge it and it was just flickering, not charging after I plugged it in. So I opened then closed it and it charged, but when I picked it up it would flicker and power cycle again.

Just wondering, anyone else having the shutdown issue with this phone? Or anyone want to try what was described to see if the same thing happens?

The problem is that while flipping open to answer a call, I can trigger a shutdown way too easily.
