Need help unblocking a sim card

I got a v600 and did the dirty and reported it stolen so my friend could have one free, but i found out that they block the phone.

anyway ive managed to unblock it with the puk code but i had to get a new sim card and it now saying unregistered sim.

how do i go about unregistering it??.

I dont think you can unregister a sim if its not registered with any one to start off witth, for the price it could be easyer to get a new one.

(they) you mean service provider? service provider cannot lock. an unregistered sim card is just that a sim card that has not been registered thru the system.........sometimes it will say emergency only..... the puk(pin unlock code) is a security feature that you can put on your phone
