Motorola V265 Help

I sent myself a .mid file through pix place, and i was able to save it on my phone, but how do i set it as my ringtone? i goto the place where i set up my ringtones and it isn't there. but it is in my media library. help? thaaanks!!

Hello. I sent a .mid file to my phone, like bossdragon said, and it's saved in my media gallery. when i try and change my ringtone, the file isn't one of the options to use. how do i make the saved file my ringtone? thanks a lot!!
