**There is a couple other ways to do this mod, including seem editing the plmn_text_table.bin file with XVI32 or any other seem editor but whats the point when OpEdit makes it so much easier! Other then that you can always remove the carrier logo all together through either seem editing or with motoskin you can basically hide it. Another method would be to remove the carrier logo with one of the above methods and either change the GPRS text with Motokit or seem edit the file responsible for the GPRS text (seem 01a8_0001). Personally the method I outlined in detail is the best and personally only took me about 2 minutes to change the carrier logo

I've been using p2kman build 27.07.2004 and I can upload and download seems but I cannot see the files in the phone. When I press update files it says retreiving files and 385 files found. But I cannot see the files on the list.

I have a motorola v557 with cingular

P2KMan does not recognize the dual partition file structure on the newer phones, Use P2Ktools or P2kCommander instead.
