    I still stand with the razr being unique.You cant use well constructed housing because it breaks easily when dropped and if not babied. Therefore it is not well constructed, but is unique cause theres no other phone as thin as this one.

    True and I love the phone but it seems to drop calls around my home and I just picked up a samsung P777 and it is a very slick phone and seems to work much better in same area without dropping calls but it needs a speakerphone and a little more of a lip to open the unit...IMO..

    I am going to check on a firmware update for the V3 if there is such a critter and see if that helps as the V3 has style up the wazzoo but the sammy works great but is twice as thick and has the damn protruding antenna (which I have little luck with) as they usually end up getting damaged one way or the other...

    im a total newb when it comes to modding phones.

    i just got my black v3.

    i did a search and its pretty inconclusive...

    1) can the v3 take vids?

    2) what do you mean by flashing the phone? (sofware upgrade)

    3) what other mods can be done?

    4) do i need a usb cable and the software to do the flash upgrades and mods?

    I havent had problems yet but the phone slips out of my hands easily when taking it out of my pocket because its so thin,

    I bought some of these here

    Not my auction,just where I bought mine..

    Works great and has the quick detach clip...

    I got the Codi case for the v3 which works fine...sells around for $25-30 but my fone guy got it for me for $9 so watch out...
