I have a motorolla v220 from cingular and my friend gave me his T-Mobile v600 phone. Today i put in my sim card and entered the unlock code, but it said contact service provider. Which i think means i cant use my cingular SIM card in a T-Mobile phone. Is this true? And is there a way i can bypass this and be able to use his v600?

    Thanks

If your phone is unlocked you should be able to use your sim card. There's no problem contacting your provider, if they give you any BS ask for a supervisor. It sounds like your phone is not unlocked.
Respond to this message when you settle the problem.

I agree with the both of them. Try contacting your service provider.
