#1 | | Newbie | I have cingular and recently bought a motorola a630 for t mobile. It was unlocked and works fine, but I can't use the browser because it's still the T mobile browser. So it thinks I don't have the service, is there anyway to change it to the cingular browser?

#5 | | Newbie | Thanks for the info..i'm sure it would work if i could find where the websessions are. I took the phone into a cingular store and we couldn't find websessions. We looked under everything..even browser settings..nothing to set up a new web session. Even when you go to web access you see a bunch of icons all of which but the web session one...its as if it is gone.

#8 | | Newbie | Are you guys insane or somethin?, the very first thing you should do, before posting anywhere, is to do a search,
thanks for your advice griffzan, duh... take it to a cingular store.
well, if you'd done a simple google search you would've found out that t-mobile has locked the websessions on the A630, I know because I have one, and I use it with cingular all the time. there are instructions on how to unlock them and also, how to change them, without unlocking them.
Good Luck !, next time, search.

#9 | | Daderator | plebillo....thanks for the info, but next time, why not be a bit more polite in posting it.
There is no reason to call people names here. Your simple explanation would have done just fine.
