#1 | | Junior Member | Hi right now I have a Motorola V300, and I have been VERY happy with it but its time for a new one. Im interested in the V551 or the V635. I hear the V551 drops calls and the battery dies quick. I wouldnt be happy with the call droping but the battery wont bother me to much unless it doesnt even last a day. The V635 looks AWESOME but a little pricey and I havent heard anything about it. any help would be great. thank you.

#5 | | Thief of Time | Ok rogers does not carry the v300 but if you want my advice I would go with the cheaper v551 if it's a battery issue, it has a warranty just like the phone does and you can also check this out http://www.shoprogers.com/store/wire...d=V635,%20V551

#7 | | Thief of Time | You may want to have your sim card tested if it's going bad or shorting out this will cause you to drop calls. Also as far as the battery goes if your using your phone to send messages or browse the internet then it will eat the battery life faster than if you were just using your phone to make calls.

#8 | | Junior Member | Griffzan, had the sim card replaced on thursday of last week and still the dropped calls, and poor reception. Could it be the phone? The girl up there told me if it keeps up send the phone in since it is under warranty, plus i have the extended warranty on the phone also. I think they will charge me $50 for another one. Not sure what the best option is. thanks

keith | It possibly could be the phone and maybe the area around your house beleive it or not me and my gf have the same phone (v300) and although my phone is out of warranty, it's hers thats messing up. Just like yours I'll be talking to her and all of a sudden she's calling back (call waiting!!) weird, my phone never disconnects the call and even though the call is still active she's calling in. As far as your warranty if your phone is till under the manufacturers warranty then you have no worries about paying the $50 (btw the manufacturers warranty is 1 yr) Good luck!
