I have an i860 and want to use it with Telus (Canadian SIM cards). I have disabled the lock status to "disable" and the Lock type to "No Subsidy" using the iden rss carrier program.
The phone still prompts for an 8 digit subsidy lock when I insert the Telus SIM card. I guess it is part of the "double lock" and I understand that the lock code is derived via the serial number.
When I insert a Nextel SIM card, I have no problems.
Can you advise me how to get this lock code number.

i860 Lock
Yes Telus does use iden, as I currently have an i730 with direct connect, etc.
Telus does sell the i830 here but not the i860.
Any other sugestions?
Thanks
