I really need this unlock code and will appreciate it if someone here can help me get it. I called Cust support, but since i am a new user (less than 90 days) they wont give me the code. So, any help is appreciated. My email address is: vimehta@vt.edu

I was able to unlock a HP H6315 after signing up with them. I requested the code and they emailed it to me. They have no reason not to provide you the unlock code, ESPECIALLY if you are on a 1-2-3 year contract!!!! Call them again!

If T-mobile is the provider, they do give you the code. Just tell them you need to go out of the country and want to use a local provider while you are there.
Otherwise just go to a retailer who has one of those smart hardware units that can unlock the phone. They may do it for a few bucks.

That is an option but ultimately, if you go to T-Mobile, IT IS FREE!!!

Yes guys, I repeatedly called T-Mobile. Since I am a user since only 35 days, and not over their 90 day policy, they refuse to give me the code. I am pissed, argued, told them i am going abroad, but they just wont help me. So, I am turing to you guys for help. Please help me unlock this A630 Moto T-mob phone | | | | |

HI,
Ok, tomorrow i will forward you contact information of a local agent that unlocks phones, it will cost but this appears to be the only way to proceed. Also, i am not sure if he will be able to do REMOTE UNLOCK but you will know by tomorrow.

If any retailer near your place has the smart unlock device, he can unlock the phone for about $10 or so.
