V551 and V300

How come some cellphones have different codes/names ??
For instance the moto v551 and V300 are the same but they're called different on different websites...

Your actualy wrong they are two very different phones. I have the 551 and the 300 was the one I upgraded from.

I think u mean the v551 and the motorola v330. Thats just because tmobile had the v300 and the update to that would be the v330. At&thad the v505 or v550 and the update for them is the v551. ITs easier that way to me at least.

No I'm with Rogers and I was looking into buying the V300 and had it but at the last minute I upgraded to V551 for 20$ more.

Yes...the v330 and the v551 are the exact same.

However....

the v330 is more tmobile. Tmobile had the v300 and the updated version to that would be the v330.

at&t had the v505 and the updated version of that is the v551.

Thats why its like that.It just makes perfect sense.:-D

ok what do you mean by the same phone, its like calling ps1 and ps2 the same game system. they are by the same maker and are in the same line but two different models with different features.

Ps1 And Ps2 are different, they got different functions.

check out the motorola v330 and v551....some websites have them as the same thing.They do the exactsame thing...they just look different....trust me...

The only diff between these 2 phones is the shell other than that yeah their the same
