Hello I hope some one can help. I have searched for 2 days for this answer .

I have a V551 phone and have it connected to my pc (WinXP Pro SP2) as a modem. I can see it in the device manager and can query it succesfully thru modem properties. I have set up a dial up connection and when I click on connect I look at my phone and see it dialing my ISP. But it quits after 2 seconds.

Can I use the v551 to connect to the internet by dialing my isp?
What I am I doing wrong?
