#1 | | Member | Ok, so I got fooled by one of the reps and got lockline. I found out that cingular discontinued the lockline insurance with v3 phones. What I really wanted to do though, was to report the razor lost twice. What phone would I get if the razor got lost or stolen?

#2 | | Phone Addict | All these cell phone insurance has a deductible. So please check that. You may need to provide proof of loss like police report, etc. Usually 'same' replacement is provided or paid for. You should read the terms of the insurance.

Either way, I wouldve sold the phone that was reported stolen on ebay twice. and keep the last one, but im gonna call cingular right now and complain why they let me get lockline on a phone thats not covered.

not only from Cingular but if you managed to sell your phone on E-Bay also from the person buying the phone being that a phone that has been reported stolen would be on a black list...i should banned you on that principal alone.

#8 | | Phone Addict | lockline will tell you it was cingulars mistake and you are SOL. The best you can do is get a refund from Cingular like I did for the 5 months worth of insurance I paid for before finding out the phone was not covered.

Will cingular even cover another phone with the insurance plan. I did not get insurance to scam cingular, I got it just in case. The v3 is an expensive phone and I dont want to pay 300+ for one. The only reason I got it was cause I got it for free.
