Need Help with flash - error message in PST

Can someone help me with flashing my V3?

I installed PST and started the tool MutliFlashFlex.exe
First I get an error
"Error: cannot load the flash tool! Friendly name : Flash Prog"

I click ok and the program opens up. I select the shx file by browsing, check enable Flash, and I see that at the bottom that it is connected.
Now I check the box on the right 'Override existing phone software ....'
And clilck Start.
At this point I get a message:
"The application is not initialized! (Flash Tool /Super file)"
and it does not flash.

What am I doing wrong or what am i missing?

at least you can get the pst program to work. For some reason every pst I download seems to be currupted, therefore, halted my flash. I want to flash my phone already...
