Lost and Found phone? Possible?

I lost my new phone a couple of days ago. Its not unlocked. If someone with the same service as mine, found my phone, could they use it? It has a SIM card inside. Could I track them down or something? Does the company know what phone you are using?

you need to report your phone immediately so that you're not charged for any calls they have made with your phone, also once you report your phone lost no one will be able to use it.

I didnt even have my SIM card in it. I was cleaning the phone at the time. Bastard didnt even take the SIM card. Can he use my phone?

If he has your service provider, he could insert his own SIM card. Or he could get it unlocked and use it with any service provider

No, I don't think so. What kind of a phone was it? Did you have insurance or any kind of equipment protection ? If you did, your service provider could replace it against loss, theft, or damage.

It was a razor phone. I dont care about a replacement...I just wna get the guy in trouble. Any chance?

Actually if whoever uses it to call t-mobile they will be able to shut down the phone because whenever you call 611 it logs your imei and if you reported it stolen the first time he calls 611 they'll lock the phone. That's the best advice I can give right now.

yes, but they may never call tmobile. They may use it on cingular.
