anyone get obex push pull to work? anyone changed the charging banner or the charging complete banner? thats what i mean.

OBEX push/pull works fine. Unbranding worked fine. video works fine. Multiple letter search in the address book works fine. Custom startup/shutdown pics and tones works fine. Custom picture on outer screen works fine. Date, time, carrier, etc removal from internal screen works fine. Want me to keep going? lol

currently my E815 will only take the first letter of the name.

I've chaged the power up-power down sounds on mine but that doesn't take seem editing to accomplish

is that the omoto sounds? i was interested in doing that myself. i was afraid i could hose my phone that way.

The only thing you can really do is delete the start up and power down sounds but no real big loss.

Your start up and power down sound are named just that, all you have to do is find a tone that you want to use as a on/ off sound and change the name to exactly as typed (Start~up or Power~down)

Wow! how you do all that? What programs you need? I just got bluetooth working on my v551 today. Obex push works great for games. Motorola phone tools are kinda cool too. Thanks for any advice to a cell hackin newb.

yea i got all that stuff too, video cam, multiple letter phbk search, 10.2 MB of free memory, removed all cingular branding, put in t-mobile branding for custom link (my album, t-zones, etc) deleted all stock ringtones (minus a few you have to keep), all messaging templates are gone, installed 2 custom skins,, man, what else....

Outside display pic changed, start up/shut down animations and sounds changed, you name it man, i've messed around with my v3

I guess I have a lot of reading to do. Can anyone point me to some good info on doing these things. I really want to get rid of the stock pics and ringtones to get more space. Some custom skins would be nice as well. Thanks.

www.motomodders.net , www.motox.us both of these site have plenty of stuff for you to read and they also tell you where to go to get what you need.(programs, etc.)
