ok- i am technically challanged. This may be a dumb question but:
I am planning of changing from cingular to verizon. I will get a new phone from verizon. Is it possible to use my old phone (motorola) as a second phone with verizon and if so what must I do. Thanks

thanks for the info- (I have no idea what unlocking is )
do i just throw the phone away- seems like such a waste
if I get it "unlocked will it work? - is a simm card different technology/

yes sim card is different, verizon uses cdma. you dont have to throw it away. ebay it and you might be able to recoup some of the $.
