Hey. I have a v551 and I want to be able to set a ringtone for one contact, but I can't cus the contact is in my SIM card and it needs to be on my Phone Memory. So if I copy all my contacts to my Phone Memory, all of the entries appear twice in my phonebook. Does anyone know a way around this. I don't want to delete them off my SIM cus then I won't have a backup of my contacts if my phone gets broken or wutever.

    Thanks,
    Superman!

Don't COPY them to your phone just move them there, I've never had a problem with the contacts showing up twice on my phone when doing this.

I can't find an option to move them, just to copy. Plus, I would like to have a backup of all my contacts.

    Thanks,

I found a way to back up my contacts. I downloaded a program called MOBILedit! from http://www.softaward.com/7753.html and it was fairly easy to use.

    Thanks for your help Griffzan.

Np, I guess I never really thought of backing up my contacts, anyone important enough to have their own ringer I know their number by heart everyone else is just that, everyone else.

yes, but u have to edit every single entry. if u have to do that u may as well just copy to phone then go and delete each entry copy...i know ,i've had 3 phones in last 2 weeks and have to keep coping to sim card, then copy to phone so i can attach my pictures. alot of tedious work if i do say so

Not every entry just the ones that you want a specific ringtone for
