let me get this straight, you want to unlock it from one provider and then lock it to another?

My friend has an extra Razor but his provider is T-mobile, I would like to know if I can unlock it so I can use it on ATT's network.

yes call your provider and tell them you're going overseas and want to unlock your phoe so you can use it with the service providers there. they'll give you an unlock code, i had t-mobile and can attest to this working, unlocked my nokia 6600 myself with no problems. good luck

Just telling them you're going overseas will not get you an unlock code, you have to have a valid reason why you need your phone unlocked.

Getting an unlock code from Cingular is not as easy as getting one from T-Mobile.
