I have a v120c recently purchased used from eBay and activated on Sprint. I know this is an older model phone but I really like its performance, having previously used 2 other models on Verizon and US Cellular. My question concerns the software that is installed. The software on my phone is version 2100.01.34 and it doesn't support text messaging. It only has "web message" that receives only. And this doesn't display a message, just "call ____" the number that sent the message.

My question: can I take the phone to Sprint to have the software updated? I really do want this feature. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with this phones performance.
