flip-up broken

Hi...

The other day, my Motorola v550 was damaged, the flip-up part came detached from the main body of the phone. I cliped this into place and now it is stiff to open, and won't automatically close or open when it gets half way.

I have just got a T6 screw driver, and removed the two screws by the battery. How do I remove the cover to fix this probelm. I am aussuming that just needs to be adjusted.
