motorola v555(551) free space for ringtones

i like to make my own ringtones. i just switched phones from the 505 to the 555 and now the 555 will only take about 5 new ring tones. there is so much junk ringtones on the 555 that there is no space left for me to add new ringtones. the 505 took all the ringtones i could add. how can i increase my ringtone memory on the 555 or delete the ringtones that came installed on the phone. i have mpt tools already to add ringtones, but there is no option to delete existing phone ringtones. any one??????

try shorteneing the size of the ringtones to about 20 - 30 seconds also make sure when u upload them there in mp3 format because wav formats take up too much memory on ur phone and some phones dont even let you upload wav files.

change the bitrate on the ringer. changing the bitrate will decrease the file size, although, if you want to keep the quality the same, try looking into unlocking your phone, that way you can delete all the crap that came with the phone.

I also have the same prob with my v555, but I bought it on ebay where it was allready unlocked,but all da crap it came with can't be deleted (The pictures and dumb ringtones).Is there a way to manage to delete all of that,would master clear or master reset delete all of that? and will my phone still be unlocked and working?
