correct procedure for removing the transflash from V635? straight or turn off?

Ok., so I haven't actually studied the v635 manual, as I did the V300 manual over 20months ago (go figure)...so I don't know if there is any protocol for inserting/removing the flash?

I just removed it-but someone told me *gasp* I should've shut the phone off?

what's the official educated stand?

I'm not official... but just like any other readable/writable drive - if the card is being accessed - even for your wallpaper photo - you need to stop that access (by turning off your phone) or risk damage

...though for you? I'm pretty sure the high five is required as well... keep doing that until someone else tells you its unnecessary.... just in case...

If you remove the memory card with your handset on it will not damage anything, but if you install the memory card when your phone is turned on you will have to turn your phone off an on again for your memory card to work properly.
