Hey guys, is there software comparable to Webjal for the Razr? I want to convert m3p's to wav's so i can import them into my phone. Also will the software work with the V551?

FREE FILE TRANSFERRING WEBSITE! I found this website where any mp3s, or pictures on your computer can be sent to your phone using the phones web browser, email, or picture messageing. WMA's and some other forms may not be supported mp3s can be up to 40 seconds and it lets you pick where in the song you want your ringtone to start! tight! Most phones should work if you have either one of these 3 options, just find the picture of your phone on the list (works like a charm with my black razr sending real tones with the web browser). Dont have to sign up, just walk through the phone and carrier questions. Enjoy! hey church how is it free? dont you have to dl the stuff or use mms>? you have to pay for that specially with cingular, costs an arm and a leg.

no, u dont have to dl anything, just dont sign up for the credit options on the website. go where it says free, there is usually a short waitlist. if you have email and a web browser, or mms as part of your plan, its free. you transfer parts of songs already on your computer, so if you have a music sharing program, u can dl music you want to use as ringtones. without any kind of plan options, im sure the email and web browsing kilobites could prolly add up. mms are like 45 cents or somethin i think though. im really not sure, i just know its alot better than paying $2.49 per song from cingular, even if you dont have the above options

i hear you, dont get me wrong, im not chastizing you, its an awesome find, just p***** that cingular wants an extra 15 bux a month for going online and having unlimited texts, they are crooks.

you don't have bluetooth or a cable? How bout a friend with a bt phone that will transfer them to you? How bout the email client built into the phone? Uses data but might be cheaper than mms. Or sign up for a data plan and use the unlimited portion for the 1st month then cancel it. The media works for 19.99 isn't a bad deal even with the limits it has now. It still has 5m, 1000 sms and unlimited mms. I still have a grandfathered plan with unlimited everything so I'm kinda spoiled. If you don'thave MPT the easiest place to get tones is any of the other forums. They all have at least one 40 - 50 page pic and tone threads. With mp3s you can get them everywhere, don't pay for a dern ring tone and don't convert them. Not sure why you would want to. If youre like me then you already had thousands of mp3s on your computer already. I had 10k possible tones before I even had the phone! lol Another easy option if youre too lazy to cutt songs down to 30 seconds, is to use walmart.com right click on any 30 second song sample in the music store section and choose save as. Bam instant 30 second ringtone. Make sure youre in the store not the download section, those are now in wma format.

yes i do have a download cable. my question is what do i need to get the mp3's into the phone?

Take your pic.....MPT, P2k's, Motokit, you name it. Youre looking for something real expensive instead of free right? j/k

sign up so you can d/l stuff. Everything is free, but everything works a little different. The best bets are P2KTOOLS and P2KMAN cause they will pretty much do everthing from delete system files to put a pic on your phone. They do both require an extra file deletion step whith ring tones that MPT does on it's own. It also does compression for you and you can chop sounds, pics, etc etc. I use MPT for everything except modding becouse it can't access system files. For modding I use....uh you don't want to know! lol

Let's see....1,2,3,4....12 phone related icons! lol They all do one thing better than anything else and None of them does everything! lol except seem editing...you can pretty much do everything with seems. Need any help let me know.
