Is it possible to get pics and such that I take with the onboard camera onto my Transflash memory? I can get ringers and pics onto the phone, but I cant go in the other direction. Any help would be appreciated.

for future use - you can change the storage device before you save a pic so that all of the pics you take go directly to the transflash.... but that doesnt help much for now, does it... ...
I know that sending the file to yourself would allow you to opt to store it to transflash - but that's a pain... and I've asked that question about the largest file size too - was it an MP3 you were trying to send?

well i figured out how to go from phone to transflash. Its basically the same thing as the "fake message" procedure to get stuff onto the phone, except in reverse. When i tried that before, i just didnt go far enough in the process to get to pick where you wanna store the "failed message attachement". it works, though:

there's a new post in how you get ringtones to your phone that deals with the 815 and sending a ringtone to it. Maybe you guys can try that. I may have another way also, and will try it later today and see if it works. (have to get my buddy to activate a 815 so I can destroy it - I mean try different things with it)

My question.... why would going through dashinka's site be any different than sending myself an email?
Maybe I'm clueless on the technology here

Ohhhh!!!! I'll post it everywhere now ... I got an mp3 ringer to my e815!!!
It has to be under 200kb (thanks X-13 )
It has to be renamed with a .mid extension
Saved to the transflash and did the 555 thing

You should explain the 555 thing to everybody that doesn't know what your talking about.
I put eight on the test phone and 4 wallpapers.

I did.... right here....
Wallpapers can be selected from the transflash... I think I'll fill up the phone memory with ringtones ... esp since I've been working on a morphing series of pictures of Joel..... the hugest gif file ever! LOL
the only part I didnt detail is how to scroll through the media.... I'll cross my fingers and hope... and edit the thread laterLast edited by jeaniesing; 09-17-2005 at 08:59 PM.
