Does T720 work on Fido network?

Does anyone know if the Motorola T720 (originally on Rogers Network) work on the Fido network and if so it asks for a code when I put my Fido chip into the phone, what is the code? Thanks,

If I recall correctly, you'll need to have someone unlock your phone from the Rogers Network (and vice versa if you want to use a FIDO phone on Rogers network). This is just one of the ways that various providers keep people from buying a phone dirt cheap on some promotion, breaking contract and then buggering off to another provider.

that is correct, just get the phone unlocked, though the t720 was not one of the greatest phones to use on either the GSM or CDMA network.....

Now the question.... WHERE would one go to get a phone unlocked? My gf is sending me her families old keitei's (cell phones) from Japan and they take a SIM Card and are world-phones, meaning they work on Rogers Network here in Canada... BUT I will need them unlocked and I'm simply not sure WHERE I can go to do this.

Normally the independent cell phone shops are the ones that can unlock your phone, they charge about $20....
