i was just wondering if i upgraded from the motorola V220 to the Motorola Razr phone if the two phones will use the same sim cards and work properly. I had nextel and i remember them saying that the i(2-digit) phones will not use the same sim card as the i(3-digit) phones. Just wondering. Thanks for the help.

what do you guys mean when you say a phone is "unlocked?" Just curious.

unlocked means when you can use it with any service provider, usually retailers will sim lock their phone so that you dont take your business to the competiton once your contract is up. if the phone is locked to cingular for example its useless on any other network because it will only accept cingular sim cards.
