So I have to be nice because you gave an answer to a question that I didn't ask? I clearly stated "from the card to the phone". If I have them on the card, it's pretty obvious that I have used a card reader of some sort, or the MP3's would not be on the card to begin with. Sorry if I offended you, that was not my intent, but I felt the answer you gave was obvious, only that it didn't answer my question.

pics are easily transferred - use the fake number method described here... MP3's are not so easily transferred as Verizon has made it nearly impossible... the linked post tells you what you CAN do within the confines of the software as it exists, you can hack your phone to do what you want it to do - but that isn;t addressed here

I don't have text messaging right now, so if I do the fake number message, will I be charged even though the message did not send?

I honestly don't know! Its only 25cents if you do get charged....

No, you won't be charged. You only get charged if you use their services, and in this instance you won't be.

It will tell you how to put your edited mp3's onto your phone and use them as ringtones.

But how do I get them under 200kb? They are only like 30 seconds long but around 600kb.

again.... www.goldwave.com... download and install he program, load one of those 30 second MP3's, then "Save as" ... the bottom dropdown box will allow you to change the quality of the file to mono. I generally go trial and error as I decrease the quality, I don't remember what quality works, sorry!
