The unlock code should be 8 digits, are you sure you got the right one?

unlock v600
Suga,
I have the same exact issue with my v600. I received the email from tmobile with the instructions and the unlock codes and nothing works. Were you able to get it to work? If so, can you let me know what you did?
Thanks in advance...

Guys, turn your phone off, insert the sim card, upon turning on your phone, it will ask for a subsidy code that's when you need to enter your code.

Unlock v600
Tony,
Do you need a SIM card from another service provider or can you use the one that's already in the phone?
Thanks for your help....

So yes, you need a sim card from another carrier for your phone to ask for the subsidy code.

unlock v600
Tony,
I appreciate your help. One more question.......How would I get another SIM card. Do I have to borrow a friends SIM card who belongs to another carrier (i.e. cingular) and will that SIM card fit in my phone? Are they all the same size? Can I goto the store and buy one?
Thanks again...

The easies is to borrow a friend's who uses a GSM carrier, Cingular in your case, and insert their sim card into your phone, and yes the sim card will fit, they are the same size, even Nextel's are the same.

unlock V600
I will try and unlock it next week. My friend has cingular so I will try and use his SIM card to unlock it. If I can't, I may take you up on that offer.
Thanks...

You don't need to send your phone anywhere, you can do a remote unlock through a website service...
