i have a motorola V60i tracfone, and it wont accept my password. after 2 hours on the phone with a customer service rep, i got nowhere. i cant access anything on the phone at all. it asks for the password when i power it up. the rep needed the info from inside the battery compartment, but i foolishly stuck one of them "stick-on" antenna/boosters, and i cant read any of the numbers, so they couldnt help me. a friend suggested i find a forum, and see if there was anyone that might be bale to tell me how to reset the phone.
i do apologize for my very first post being a request for help, but i cannot afford to go out and buy a new phone because of my extremely limited income. i still have over 1400 credits on this phone, and i cannot afford to buy that much more time.
thank you to anyone who may be able to help me!

this is kind of a long shot... but nobody else has posted a reply. i used a TDMA v60i with a prepaid carrier called www.locusmobile.com and i think they had a way to reset my password when i bought a phone on ebay. I'm not sure and i could be wrong, but if your phone is a TDMA phone they might be able to tell you something... and if you're in their service area they can reactivate that tracfone with their service, no sweat (tdma only).
did you try 1111 and 1234 (if you never customized it, then it could be 4-8 ones or 1-8 consecutively). good luck figuring it out!

first of all, thank you for the reply.
im not sure what a "tdma" phone is, so i have no idea if mine is or not.
i did call customer service, but because i couldnt provide them with the numbers under the battery, they said they couldnt help me.
as for the password, it is only a 4 digit code. it wont accept 8 digits. i did set it myself, and it worked fine up until today, but now it wont take the password i have used for 7 months. i made sure all the keys worked properly just in case, and they all work as far as i can tell. every one i hit left a * in the password field. i havent dropped the phone or got it wet, so im not sure why it wont work all of a sudden.
does anyone else have any other suggestions?

John, do you still have your receipt for your v60i? they usually have the IMEI/serial number printed on the receipt as well...

tracfones dont have sim cards, they are either tdma or cdma.
