Help with connection V3c

I just got my Razor V3c, and am trying to connect to do all of the fun stuff. I bought a bluetooth USB connector, and I can see all of the folders on my phone through my computer such as pictures, etc. Nothing is in any folder except the picture one wher ther are only files of the pics i have taken. Anyway, i am trying to connect with mobil phone tools. I updated and everything. I chose my correct phone model, and my phone is even discovered. Now the problem starts. When i click on my phone icon, the clock thing starts going, and then i get the error "Comm port Installation failed." What is going on, and what can i do to fix it. I know it's a lot for my first post, but i am in desperate need for some help. Thanks!

I am not familiar with those USB Bluetooth adapters, but my laptop has built in Bluetooth, and there is an icon in my icon tray called "My Bluetooth Places." I dunno if that adapter puts the same icon in your tray or not, so what I have to tell you may or may not help. But, when I go into my Bluetooth places and connect to my phone, the phone shows up as a network drive, and all I have to do is copy/paste pics, vids, and tones to or from their respective folders. Hope that makes sense/helps you in any way.
