Guess i should have posted this first, but got too excited about loading modding. Anyway got the V3c Razor today, and the phone is great. The charcoal color is best in my opinion. I have better reception now than ever before. No dropped calls yet, and believe me i had like 5 a day on a good day. phone seems durable, and options are forever. Hopefully i will have great experineces with it. Oh and the thing going around about the echoing in the earpiece, i have not noticed it at all. In fact this is the best sounding phone i have ever had, or mabe it was just that my other phone was a POS!

I just got the V3c myself, and my biggest issue with it is the fact that Verizon has locked up many of it's features. I want to load some of my MP3 files on it as ringtones. I bought the cable and software through Motorola, loaded it up and connected it to my computer, and discovered that Verizon has locked out the capability to load your own ringtones, wallpaper and screensavers. Ostensibly this is to get you to use their Get It Now service, which is very limited iteself.

My question is this... has anyone figured out how to "bypass" these locked out features and use the functionality that Motorola gave this great phone?

    Hmm

For me all the ringtone and picutres are accesable through my USB cable.

I have used the cord which i had before and

I downloaded phone tools from the web. after install I upgraded the software...

Than I had to install my phone driver after I was connected(which is automatic, but my computer did not found my phone So, I had to choose one from the list.)

At first I choosed wrong phone. only the phone book was working for me at the time.

but I was wondered about it. So I erased whole thing and reinstalled phone tool.

Like I said my computer could not detect my phone automaticaly Therefore I looked carefully into the list of phones. There was V3c on it...... without saying Razr.

So, I did that than finally they load up my phone.... all the ringtone and picture are accesable...

If your entertainment bar is unable; you should check the how your phone look like with Phone tool software up on the screen. It sould be just looks like RAZR. So, if it isn't you should change the phone model through software.......

BUT my question is How can I remove "Verizon Wireless" which is on my out and inside screen..... specially the one on the outside screen is quiet annoying.

    Hope this help......

My time stays right up to date without any interference on my part.
