#1 | | Newbie | OK, so I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times before, but bear with me, I'm new here. I am in the market for a new phone (probably Motorola) and see all kinds of deals for free phones (with new service). What is considered some of the top phones out there? I have heard bad things about the Razr, but still think its pretty cool. Any feedback is appreciated.

#2 | | Cellular Superman | For T-Mobile they are offering a Samsung e335 camera phone for free online and Cingular is offering the Motorola V551 for only $49.99. The V551 has video camera and bluetooth which is a really good deal.

#3 | | Newbie | Why would anyone pay for a phone? These internet sites (not the carriers themselves) all offer much better deals than going directly to Cingular, or T-Mobile. That's my problem, there are like 50 free phones you can choose from and I don't know what is best.

#4 | | Cellular Superman | Well out of the 50 free ones, which ones have the most/best features. For example: cameras, video, bluetooth, speakerphone, etc.

#5 | | Newbie | That's the problem. Tons of them all seem to have the same features, Bluetooth, camera, etc. I just looking for someone to say that they really love a particular phone over the rest.

I really love my Razr over all the other phones.....
Buddah, i think the only one that can decide which phone fits you best is you.
You need to decide what you need in a phone as well as how much you want to spend on one..we can only make recommendations because we all have different needs from a cellphone as well as taste, some may buy a phone just for the looks of it and others just for it's color...
Now it would also make it easier for anyone trying to help you to know what carrier you are using to make a better recommendation....

#7 | | Newbie | Thanks for the response. I am currently with Cingular, but am out of contract. I have heard great things about the Razr, but have also heard that its hard to position the phone to hear.

I don't think the Razr is uncomfortable at all, as a matter of fact i love the feel of it on my hands...
Since you're out of contract you can go and see where to get the best deal, the Razr is now being offered by Verizon as well as T-Mobile, the Verizon version ( CDMA) Is bit lighter than the GSM version but looks just as good.....
good luck ~Tony | | |

#9 | | Newbie | How does the Motorola e835 compare to the Razr? I have heard that these are 2 of the best. Does anyone have comments about the 835?
