OEM stands for "Original Equipment Manufacture", this means the the wire is specifically made for the V3 by motorola so it should be compatible. I have one and it works fine and then after that, u can just download MPTs. | | |

can anyone confirm, will a regular USB cable work?

it'll only go up to version 3.3 - it's not updating any higher then that. saying the update engine isn't installed so i can't go to 4.xx
i thought i had the correct usb drivers but still not recognizing... been reading through the faq's and no luck
