HI all,

I was just given a Moto V220 Pay as you go mobile phone as a present, and i am happy with it overall

I have one problem with sending SMS text messages though...

The manual says to send a text choose the messages menu then select "New Message" but the new message option is nowhere to be found, i simply cannot send an SMS from the messages menu, sounds a bit odd to me.

I can send SMS if i use the phonebook entries and select a number then select "Send message" but it's an untidy way to send text's and means i have to have numbers saved onto my phone in order to text them...

it's a pain if i wanna enter a comp that says "Text show to 456" or whatever.

Does anyone else have this problem? has anyone else had this problem before and was able to fix it?

Please let me know, i'm pulling my hair out here :P
