V220 Camera no longer works?

I have a v220 Camara phone and for some reason the camara no longer works...I push the camara button the screen goes dark for 3 or 4 secs. then just goes back to my wallpaper??? Is there anything I can do to repair this? Do not have any idea what it could be....

One of my V220's has the exact same problem so I just purchased another V220 with a working camera. I have since upgraded to the special edition razr so I no longer use either of the V220's, they'll probably end up on eBay lol.

If you're brave enough to take it apart to see if you can fix it somehow, ie, loose contact somewhere, then I have a site for you that goes through the whole process of dissasembly and reassembly - all with pictures. See the link below:

Seems like an inherent design flaw to me, as I have had two V220's that did the same thing, and a friend of mine had one that also did this. I liked the phone, aside from the drab STN screen in it, and was rather dissappointed that it wasn't as durable as I had hoped it to be.

sounds like you have a bad flex. replace it.

If you're phone is under warranty, then just have it replaced under warranty if you don't know how to modify the programming on the phone.
