I have a v710 but what iam trying to do any cell phone will have the same problem. Cell Phones with mp3 players built in is the issue. Wouldnt it be nice to use your cell to play mp3 to a fm transmitter to hear in your car or home! Ive gotten a fm transmitter, hooked up a adapter from radio shack to bring the jack size to from 2.5mm to 3.5mm to go into the transmitter. The problem is when you push the plug all the way into the phone only one speaker works. If you pull up on the jack about 1/8 inch they both work but not a great conection. Ive contacted motorola they have no clue ! Ive looked on the internet for days caint find any posts . DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS! Any adapters that will work ! Thanks for looking at this post!

turn the radio from stereo to mono. the cell phone is mono, and a lot
of radios (especially good ones) have an option to switch to mono.

Radio Shack might have some kind of adapter for mono to stereo?

bah humbug.... if someone would just market an adaptor that has 3 bands: right, left, and mic - and opposed to 2 bands: right and left... then we could all use cheap headphones and FM transmitters.... if that adaptor had a little mic on it it would make things even easier!

Looks like that would solve your problem, EXCEPT that your setup doesn't allow for a microphone and therefore you'd have to unplug to take/make a call?
