i'm just wondering how (or if it's possible even) to get games on my e815 through a transflash card?

I don't think that's possible. You need to unlock the Java App Loader, and then use MIDway to send the games to your phone. You can unlock the JAL with PST, or you can do it through Opcode. The Opcode is easier, but you need to be able to get into the Opcode Menu on your phone first. Also, I am unsure if the Opcode that unlocks the Java App Loader on the Vxxx series phones will work on an Exxx series phone...

You cannot load a game onto your memory card and then transfer it over to the phone.

As Moto mentioned, there are a few steps that are needed to be able to put a game on the phone. I am sorry to say that I will not go into that, as there is a very strong possiblity that you will mess your phone up, and I will not be held responsible.

Please don't ask, I will not help people do anything that requires hacking the phone in anyway.

your perogative for shurrrre.

opcode/midway...only a few of the MANY different programs available to enable you're java app loader....which by the way is not HACKING your phone. It is only doing what your cellprovider has ILLEGALLY done to force you to PAY someone else to download the phone, instead of doing it YOURSELF and learning a thing or two beyond pressing the green button on your cellphone to dial a number

Check out this post

As long as you read the instructions. CLEARLY, feel comfortable enough-go ahead and have some fun. Of course for me to even tell you that I'm not responsible if you screw up your phone is ridiculous...because a) You do things of your own accord and risk b) this is FORUM!!!! where people share their experiences....good AND BAD, WITHOUT NEEDING to tell people "I'm not responsible" hehe.

Do a search online...there's oodles of websites devoted to Motorola hacking...it's fun.

Congrats on picking up a fairly robust cellphone!

www.howardforums.com
www.motomodders.net
www.v710.org (which is basically the same as the e815...give or take)
www.motoskinners.net (not sure about ending)

just to name a few. Very very smart people in there.

When I was at some other forums (some of which you have mentioned) I would give out any and all hack/tip discoveries that I came across.

All was good till I got a pm saying, "I did all you said, and now my phone won't work." After hours of pm'ing back and forth, come to find out he did indeed go beyond what I had said in my tutorial, and messed with something he should not have."

We got very lucky and was able to get his phone to work. I wrote that off as lessoned learned, but within 2 days, I recieved another pm from somebody else who had messed their phone up. That one I could not bring back to life. This continued to be a norm for about 6 months of my posting hacks/tutorial's.

After that, I removed all my hacking tips and have not, nor will I ever post another hack/cheat again.

My biggest problem is I feel bad/responsible (whether it's there fault for being stupid, or whatever) when something goes wrong with somebody else's phone because of my tips/hacks/etc.

So, to prevent any of that happening again....I just won't do it anymore.

E815 Verizon java games

Does anyone have instructions for java/games on Verizon E815 that may have been posted before without credit to the poster if they want to remain anonymous?

I have successfully performed seem edits for the E815 for Bluetooth OBEX, etc. but have not seen anything for java/games on Verizon E815.

Thanks.
