Delete installed ringtones (fake # trick)


Hello everybody just registered, got the e815 phone, been reading the forum for some info, didn't realize how limited i was with verizon with this get it know junk (maybe a mistake) but still in the 15 day trial till friday, i'm managing to work around a few things for now except the games, tried the fake phone # trick and worked well, my ? is, Is there away to delete the entry on my phone (ringtone) before i over do it?

You have lots of space on that phone... I can't imagine that a few pre-installed midi tones would make that big of a difference. They are maybe 5-20kb a pop, if that!

Finally, for some reason if you go through the tools part of the ringtones it doesn't give you option to delete???, but going directly to sounds it gave me the option, can't remember if it was there before,did however make a new playlist leaving out the ringtone i wanted extract during the process, and before my eye's the option was there, i don't know if it works with preinstalled ringtones,I'm kinda new to this cellphone deal only had one for two weeks now still learning.

Hey Astrosurfer, were you able to upload ring tones from your computer through a USB cable? and if so,,,,,How?

Right now at the moment, only have a memory card and card reader as soon as i get my hands on a usb cable i'm sure gonna try, but i think i read it someware that it can be done, i think i may have read it someware here in this forum, in a matter of fact i think with a usb cable and some sort of software i think you can get for free, but don't hold me to that maybe someone else may have more info.
