V3 disassembly

My v3, amoung others from reading some threads, has collected dust inside the faceplate. I went to dissasemble today but found that the screws are NOT a T6 torx wich was what I thought. Im guessing its a T5 but just wanted to verify that with anyone who has done this yet. Its the black Razr if it matters. Thanks in advance

fyi., this forum is not for highly adept cellpho-holics., for that breed...head over to howardforums.com

Sorry to say it, but the fact that nobody has told you yet, either is testament to that fact...or you just don't have any friends around here

Yes, it is a T5. I have never tried to take the whole phone apart, but I do change the faceplates(the easy part) which requires to take out the 4 screws around the LCD.

Islide welcome to CPF, sometimes you will not get a reply instantly but with patience one of us regulars will get to you..
and yes T5 torx.

Also have you contacted Cingular about the dust problem on your Razr?
give em a call, they might just give you an exchanged.
