Phone Tools 4.0 creates several entries with the same name.

Hi,

I have been using a Razr for a while. I just purchased Phone Tools 4.0 to make it easier to enter and sync phone numbers and addresses with my PC. However, I have this fundamental problem: In my PC address book I have entries for people that contains more than one number for instance “work”, “home” and “mobile”, but when I add this to the phone it creates three separate entries for the person with one of the numbers in each. I can not find a way to have it add one entry with several numbers. Am I missing something obvious since I can easily do this when I create phone book entries directly on the phone?

there is no other way i think,i know what u mean its kinda annoying but they made it like that.

It’s very annoying actually. I have now found out that you can have the phone book only show the main contact. That helps, but this is a lousy address book concept. The Razr is nice, but even my crappy old Nokia did better on the phone book.

Maybe this is a general Motorola issue? This is my first Mot phone so I wouldn’t know.
