hello everyone. im new to the form.does anybody know if its possible to get the silver skin from the razor to install on my v557? the three it came with are kinda lame.thanks alot.

No sorry, the form factor of the two phones is not the same, so body for a Razr will not fit on the guts of a V557.

i guess i worded that wrong sorry.i meant the silver theme that the razr has

i found the silver theme. could someone help me get it on my phone.after i download with winrar.how do i get it to my phone?thanks

Oh sorry I thought you meant the body for the phone...

To get skins loaded, you will need a data cable (yes you need to buy borrow or steal a data cable).

Also you will need to download a program that will allow you to edit the directories on your phone (to upload the files and rename file names if needed).

i already have the cable.iv been reading alot and just dont get it.whats the easiest program to just download the original motorolla themes? iwas able to adjust the gaines of the volume.the rest is so confusing.i guess i need a step by step helper.

I don't really think there is an easy simple to use program used to upload skins (themes) to phones. Why? Depending on the phone, there may be directories on the phone that are hidden. So you will need a program that can see all directories, hidden or not, and allowes you to put files in directores and edit filenames/menus/directories that need editing, not something you can do with a simple copy from computer to phone type program.

If anyone knows of a easy no reading, no fuss, drag and drop program, please post info or point to a tutorial for Redrocker.

From what little I have read on the modding boards, some things are not something you want to attempt if you don't have more than 10 mins to do them.
