I recently got the motorola v3c from verizon wireless, and want to download some ringtones onto it from my computer. A friend told me that since it has bluetooth i don't need a USB cable to connect it to my computer. But, I tried to use it, and it doesn't work. Do I need a cable or am I doing something wrong? I have a new dell laptop computer with wireless internet.

Verizon has disabled the OBEX functionality of the Bluetooth feature. The only Bluetooth profiles available on any Verizon phone are headset and handsfree.
Sorry, you will need a cable to upload ringtones and pictures from your computer.LG VX9900 (enV)

paulcman is right
Yep paulcman is right. Verizon wants you to buy ringtones from them! The only way to use bluetooth is if you do a firmware flash, and that says peace out to your warranty.
