unlocked phones and internet

Ok i just signed up so i dont no if tehre are other threads on this or not but i just bought an unlocked V600 and i bought a V400 unlocked on ebay a while back and its internet wouldnt work until cingular had me change some settings after about 16 phone calls ... lol ... but anyway does anyone know what settings to change and how to get to them i think they had me enter star then some number buyt i may be mistaken.... anyway if anybody knows where to go on the V600 and what settings to enter and to change to make it compatable with cingulars messing and internet service this info will be greatly appreciated... thanks
