DONT USE MOBILE PHONETOOLS
IT DOES NOT WORK...
...(with the exception of calenders and notes and other stuff we dun usually use)
the bad part is the things we want working doesnt work... like ring tones, pic,videos,wallpapers and such...
curse u multimedia button...
the last..say about 10 posts on the "correct way to connect our verizon/nonverizon" sticky are complaints that mpt doesnt work
yes...
save some time, and find another software... not even the update doesnt work...
if anyone has anyhting to say....
say it now

With what phone? I would like to ask.....
I can see u use Razr V3, but what I wrote for V3c and it should work.
New release of MPT did not have multimedia Icon for me ALSO....
but someone replied on my sticky which appears first sticky on the page..( THE WAY HOW TO CONNECT COMPUTER AND VERIZON RAZR(or nonverizon) THROUGH UBS CORD)
SPECIALLY for Verizon Razr V3c u need to select V3CM instead of V3c..
I did not mantion about that part(multimedia Icon problem) because by the time back than (when I wrote it) there was no new verison of MPT( which everyone start to having this problem.)....
With selecting V3c there will NOT be multimedia Icon.. Which I have experienced with too.
BUT with V3CM,, multimedia will be there and work properly..

sorry i should have inclded that i use the v3 in my first post but i was too heated to think... i spent a lota time downloading the software off limewire and buying the mini usb cable thing

mpt dusnt work for the moto razr v3
and to answer the guys question of wht i use to connect my fone to the computer.... i use nuthing... ive been trying to find a working program fora while.....

that's correct MPT does not work, but it does not work for YOU...
I've been using MPT with all my Razrs as well as my v620 and v600 with no problems at all.
Next time please do not use a title on your thread that can be misleading to members.

so i just downloaded motorola phone tools v3.40i retail from bit torrent. when i try and install with my new slvr it says the phone needs a driver. can anybody please steer me in the right direction. also, my friend has a razr and i want for him to use it too. will he need to download and install a seperate driver too?
